What is monotheism?


Monotheism is a strict conviction or precept that states the presence of only one God. This idea appears differently in relation to polytheism, which trusts in various divine beings, and skepticism, which prevents the presence from getting any divine beings. In monotheistic religions, like Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, there is normally a focal divinity who is accepted to be almighty, omniscient, and ubiquitous, liable for the creation and food of the universe, as well as the moral and otherworldly direction of humankind
